The Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #28 in collaboration with the following non-profit organizations: Fry Fire Department, Boys & Girls Club of Sierra Vista, San Pedro Kiwanis, NAMI, CASA, Just Kids Inc. and Good Neighbor Alliance have formed a partnership in presenting the annual Community Haunted House.

Boys & Girls Club of Sierra Vista has joined forces with The Dribble for Cancer Event as beneficiary. We invite all parents, members and the community to participate as we set out to break the world’s record for the most people dribbling a basketball at one time.
On behalf of the Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Vista, I would like to sincerely thank you for the sponsorships and contributions you provided for first annual Radiothon held on February 28th, 2014. Thanks to your generous support, we were able to raise money for It Just Takes One, our annual campaign to make a lasting difference in the lives of the kids at the Boys and Girls Club.

The designated charity for this year’s Festival of Trees is the Sierra Vista Boys & Girls Club. The committee received 17 applications, all of which were carefully reviewed, before the club was chosen to be the first charity in a new process for the reorganized Festival of Trees. Damara Lotten, the club’s executive director said the organization’s selection is an honor. “We’ve got a lot of changes going on and whatever money is obtained will help,” she said.

With the kickoff of National Boys & Girls Club week on Sunday, the local Sierra Vista Boys & Girls Club held a family carnival on Saturday to correspond with the push to provide local kids the opportunities they need to be healthy, happy, and successful. The event, held at the Boys & Girls Club facility on Paseo San Luis, featured tons of games and fun activities for the kids and their families.
